WEATHER

Baby, it's cold outside! Expect snow flurries regularly during the month. We hope you bought a sun lamp, because mister sunshine will be taking an extended vacation throughout the month of December. Notable amounts of snowfall are expected during the later part of the month, just in time for Snowdown. Bundle up and find someone to cuddle with, Poros, it's going to be a chilly month!

ONGOING THROUGH DECEMBER

FINALS! Fall term is done around the middle of the month, punctuated with exams and projects. The week leading up to the end of the term should prove to be busy, but it will be worth it in the end, right?
VACATION! Finally! The term is over and it's time to celebrate the Snowdown holiday! Are you going home for a few weeks or staying on campus? For those sticking around, the campus will prove to be a bit of a ghost town. It might be a good time for some shenanigans, or to go into town and hang out.
SNOWDOWN! The end of the year is here, and with it the Time of Snowdown! Time of Snowdown, the area around Valoran Institute will be decorated in kind. Shops will be offering special Snowdown sales to prepare for the gift-giving season. Be careful of the crowds, however, they can be quite cutthroat.
SNOW DAY! A blizzard is coming, time to bunker in! Classes will be cancelled for a few days, much to many of the teachers' chagrin (with exams just around the corner). What does this mean for the students? Snow ball fights, snow angels, snow forts, really the list goes on.
WILD CARD! Come up with your own prompt!

MONSTERS OF THE MONTH!

WHAT IS THIS FESTIVE THING??? The Snowdown-starved serpent of Summoner's Rift will be making an appearance around campus. It seems relatively harmless... unless you get too close. Baron Nashor will spawn in random areas around campus, here to spread Snowdown cheer with his noxious acid breath! Someone get this guy a candy cane!

MINI EVENT!

PORO INVASION The Poros have taken over the campus! They heard you have delicious Poro-Snax, and have come to visit en masse. Surely this couldn't be a bad thing, right..?

This is really good too! I thought it would be spicier than it is.

That's a no-spice dish. If you want to try spicy, have a bit of mine. I warn you though, it's really spicy. It'll probably be a bit too much for you.

[ Despite the fact that it was angrily spitting a moment ago. She grabs a small piece with her fork and eats it without a second thought. ]

[ Then immediately puts a hand to her mouth and starts coughing. WHY DOES IT TASTE LIKE BURNING. Delicious burning. BUT BURNING!! ]

You OK? Eat rice if it's a bit too much, it'll help dampen the flavor. No water though, it'll spread the spice around your mouth.

[ Lux gets ready to take a drink, then stops, quickly taking a few bites of rice. Her eyes are watering. ]

I did mention it was spicy.

You might have.

[ She sounds a little hoarse. ]

You should be OK to drink water now.

[ She takes a sip, exhaling a bit. ]

How can you eat something like that? I could hardly taste anything over all the spice!

I've been eating it for a long time, you usually have to work your way up. It's really good though, the spice really enhances the flavor.

Well, before the spice hit it tasted pretty good...

If you want you can try it at a 1 spice next time, it's fairly manageable.

Anyway, what about your food? Do you like it?

I'm not sure I've ever had anything like it. It's really good. I thought it was going to be more spicy than it is.

[indy_wannabe]

That dish isn't really spicy, I didn't know if you'd want some or not. Did you want something a bit spicier but not too spicy?

[ladyofluminosity]

That's all right, this is really good. I don't mind.

[ She continues to eat, looking pretty happy. She wouldn't tell anyone that this was much better than Demacian food. There was pride on the line. But it was, it really, really was. ]

[After the meal is wrapping up, the waitress brings Ezreal the check, which he casually pays before Lux has a chance to react]

[ Lux grabs her purse, then sees that she is already too late. She looks at him like a deer caught in the headlights. ]

H-hey, wait a second, mine was on there too!

[indy_wannabe]

It's your birthday! I'm not gonna make you pay for anything on your birthday.

[ladyofluminosity]

But...

[ Her cheeks turn a bit rosy.

No, it wasn't a date! See, he said it himself! It was her birthday. That didn't justify it in her book, but if that was the reason he gave... ]

But I was going to pay for mine. It's just a day, it's fine.

[indy_wannabe]

It's not just a day! I'm going to make sure you have a good birthday. Anything you want today is yours. And you're not paying a cent.

[ And she goes from slightly pink to just a bit red. ]

...If you insist. But only if you let me do the same for you.
