WEATHER

Baby, it's cold outside! Expect snow flurries regularly during the month. We hope you bought a sun lamp, because mister sunshine will be taking an extended vacation throughout the month of December. Notable amounts of snowfall are expected during the later part of the month, just in time for Snowdown. Bundle up and find someone to cuddle with, Poros, it's going to be a chilly month!

ONGOING THROUGH DECEMBER

FINALS! Fall term is done around the middle of the month, punctuated with exams and projects. The week leading up to the end of the term should prove to be busy, but it will be worth it in the end, right?
VACATION! Finally! The term is over and it's time to celebrate the Snowdown holiday! Are you going home for a few weeks or staying on campus? For those sticking around, the campus will prove to be a bit of a ghost town. It might be a good time for some shenanigans, or to go into town and hang out.
SNOWDOWN! The end of the year is here, and with it the Time of Snowdown! Time of Snowdown, the area around Valoran Institute will be decorated in kind. Shops will be offering special Snowdown sales to prepare for the gift-giving season. Be careful of the crowds, however, they can be quite cutthroat.
SNOW DAY! A blizzard is coming, time to bunker in! Classes will be cancelled for a few days, much to many of the teachers' chagrin (with exams just around the corner). What does this mean for the students? Snow ball fights, snow angels, snow forts, really the list goes on.
WILD CARD! Come up with your own prompt!

MONSTERS OF THE MONTH!

WHAT IS THIS FESTIVE THING??? The Snowdown-starved serpent of Summoner's Rift will be making an appearance around campus. It seems relatively harmless... unless you get too close. Baron Nashor will spawn in random areas around campus, here to spread Snowdown cheer with his noxious acid breath! Someone get this guy a candy cane!

MINI EVENT!

PORO INVASION The Poros have taken over the campus! They heard you have delicious Poro-Snax, and have come to visit en masse. Surely this couldn't be a bad thing, right..?

That was pretty good. Did you like it?

I wanted to see more Captain Demacia.

[ Of course he was her favorite. ]

But I liked it! It was really good! I've always liked his writing a lot, it's very witty.

He's not bad. Have you seen the Hemomancer Slayer series? It's pretty good. A bit... not OK for kids, but I think you'd like the protagonist.

Of course I have! I've seen every episode.

[ Some twice, even three times. This is the joy of online streaming, dear Ezreal. ]

[He laughs]

Fair enough. Did you want to catch dinner somewhere?

I don't want to keep you out too late. I'm sure you've got other things that you could be doing tonight.

Nothing more important than making sure you have a good birthday. I'm totally free for as long as you wanna hang out.

[ladyofluminosity]

[ ...It was just Ezreal? So why did her heart suddenly flutter a bit? She smiles a bit sheepishly. ]

Sure, did you have something in mind?

There are some nice restaurants around here that would be good for a birthday dinner, I think.

[After dinner and a visit to a Karaoke bar open to minors]

Phew. Well, it's getting late. We should probably catch the bus back while they're still running.

Yeah, we probably should...

[ She looks a bit disappointed, but begrudgingly agrees. ]

[The bus ride is uneventful, but Lux might notice Ezreal's getting a bit more fidgety. Finally, they arrive on campus, the cool night air blowing gently]

Did you have a good birthday?

[ If Lux does notice, she doesn't let on that she has. Instead, she spends most of the trip either staring out the window, or at her boots.

Once on campus, she gives him a bit of a smile, brushing her hair aside. ]

I did. I'm not used to someone taking the time to celebrate it with me. I had a lot of fun.

I'm glad.

[Fidget fidget]

We get along pretty well now, right?

[ She blinks a few times, a bit confused by the question. ]

[ Okay, that was way too fast. How is she supposed to understand what you're saying when you talk like that? ]

[Ezreal sighs and takes a deep breath, his face turning a bit red, although in the darkness it's likely hard to tell]

Would you like to go out with me again sometime? As in, on a date?
